Author - David Michie Book Review: The Dalai Lama’s Cat – David Michie This is a delightful story full of humour and wisdom. It’s told from the point of view of a cat, not just any cat but His Holiness’s Cat, who is privy to the discussions and goings on in the Dalai Lama’s office and the surrounding Monastery and town. Along the way The Most Beautiful Cat in the World and the people she meets learn valuable lessons drawn from Buddhist teachings. It is simply and entertainingly written but profound. David Michie was born in Zimbabwe, educated in South Africa and now lives in Australia. He has written Buddhism for Busy People, Hurry Up and Meditate and numerous other books including a series featuring the Dalai Lama’s cat.
